PJ Party!!!

Today at school, Gallie's class had a PJ party and pancake breakfast... YUM! She was so excited about it - last night she lined up all of her nightgowns so she could choose the perfect one. She also decided on Valentine the bunny to take and cuddle with!

Slimy, yet satisfying!

Over the weekend...

We went swimming! Pretty fun to swim in warm water on a cold day!

We packaged up Gallie's Christmas presents for her friends at school.

Wrapped some other Christmas presents...

...which led to other things!

And made a gingerbread house!

It was a relaxing weekend, but we actually got a lot done - and had fun doing it!

We haven't talked to Caleb in a few days but he's in India now. He called on Thanksgiving morning, which was his Thanksgiving night, and he said he had grasshoppers for dinner... gross! I think he's having a really great time and am excited to hear more about it.

Almost Thanksgiving, or Christmas???

I wasn't going to admit this, but we actually decorated our house for Christmas a few days ago! We just got overly excited with a few new decorations I had got and one thing led to another... oh well, we get to enjoy it for a couple extra weeks this year!!!

I'm a little teapot... preschool musical!

Snowy Saturday

Look what we woke up to this morning!

Gallie also woke up to a new nighty surprise from Daddy!

He is leaving on Monday for Africa so we ventured out into the blizzard (it was so so cold!) to get some things for his trip including jungle strenth insect repellent! Don't feel bad for him - he will be living it up in 5 star hotels and hanging out on the Nile. We are excited to see what he brings us!!!

When we got home it was snowing inside and out! I really don't care for the snow but Gallie was excited about it. It didn't snow last winter at all and the year before she was too little to remember. This year she can't wait to make a snow man and go sledding... but unfortunatley she was still a little sickies today. I still can't believe we have snow before Thanksgiving!!!

LUNCH!!!

In the evening our good friend, Stephanie, who is in beauty school, came over to give Gallie her first haircut!!! She did such a good job and Gallie looks SO pretty! She cut about 3 inches off the back - it was getting pretty long. And gave her bangs a trim. It just looks so so good!

Sick Day

Gallie woke up with a cold this morning, so no school for her... and no work for me! We were kind of bummed, though, because today was our snack day and the book fair. Oh well, laying on the couch and watching cartoons all day is not so bad :)

Here is some stuff that Gallie has brought home from school lately. The last one of the little people was done at home, but I thought it was cute.

And on another note, we have started decorating for Christmas already!!! At least in Gallie's room - I won't let any decorations go up in the rest of the house until after Thanksgiving. The Pooh Bear ornament was made by my great aunt and is very old.

Disneyland!

This week I booked our plane tickets and hotels for our Disneyland/Seaworld trip in May... it's a surprise for Callie's birthday, so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Over the weekend...

We played, played, and played. And that's about it!

Gallie is doing really well with her writing. She wrote each letter by herself. We've been practicing a lot so that her letter to Santa will be perfect :)

Congratulations Josh & Emily!!!

Callie has a new cousin tonight, Elliot Joshua Young. 10lb. 2 oz. We are all thinking of them and can't wait to see them all!

Over the weekend...

On Saturday morning we went to see Disney on Ice - it was 10x better than Elmo Live (haha... if that is possible!). Callie loved it because she saw a ton of the characters from the movies she really likes right now. Particular favorites were Baloo, Minnie, and Jesse the Cowgirl.

Sunday we spent the morning making cupcakes... we needed a way to use up some of the Halloween candy! I felt really bad because she ate quite a bit of frosting and threw up :( She still managed to eat a cupcake after lunch though :)

The afternoon was spent playing princess and doing her princess duties of taking care of all the animals in the kindom. Then we went to TJ Maxx to spend all of the princess' riches.

We had a really nice weekend... and no work tomorrow!!!
