Saturday Morning

This morning we got up early and went out to breakfast, which we haven't done in a really, really long time. We went to our favorite cafe and it was delish!



Then we went to a kid's garage sale where kids sell their toys. Gallie had $3 to spend and came home with some treasures!

Our plans for the rest of the day include lunch, packing, playing, grocery shopping, and a movie tonight... Tinkerbell's Great Fairy Rescue!!!

Better early than never!

We got an early start on making Halloween treat bags for Gallie's class. They include the following: halloween tattoo, pumpkin eraser, squishy frog, a little plastic dog or cat, and a mini fruit roll-up. Very exciting!!!

P.S. We do have a costume(s?) picked out... but it's a surprise!!!

Look who dropped in to visit me at work and bring me some halloween decorations for my new office!


Just for fun.

Over the weekend...

I was sick. I had a lot of things I needed to do this weekend, but nothing really got done. Luckily it was just a cold and will be gone in time for our last minute trip to Great Wolf Lodge next weekend!

Since I don't have any photos from this weekend, here's a picture of Callie in bed tonight (she is a very sound sleeper!). She doesn't have one certain stuffed animal or blanket that she has to sleep with every night, but she does have to have a couple of her "guys."

Movie Night!

Last night we went to the opening of Caleb's movie, "Do you see colors when you close your eyes?" There was a good turnout and everyone seemed to really like it!

CAT

Tonight Gallie was in the bath and I was putting some laundry away (don't worry, I could see her!). When I came back in , she said "Look Mommy, CAT." I was shocked and had to stop to think if I had written it for her. She's been practicing her letters and does know how to spell cat, but has never put a word together by herself... with exception of CALLIE. I'm very proud of her!

She wrote all of HORSE by herself except for the "S"... which is a hard letter :) She is very interested in writing names and animals right now. She also has recently learned how to cut so spends a lot of time cutting things out of magazines.

I didn't feel like cooking tonight, so we went out! Notice the matching princess dresses! I swore I would never buy character clothing, but here she is wearing the dress and princess shoes. I also swore I would never go to Build-a-Bear... haha!
