Disneyland!

This week I booked our plane tickets and hotels for our Disneyland/Seaworld trip in May... it's a surprise for Callie's birthday, so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Over the weekend...

We played, played, and played. And that's about it!

Gallie is doing really well with her writing. She wrote each letter by herself. We've been practicing a lot so that her letter to Santa will be perfect :)

Congratulations Josh & Emily!!!

Callie has a new cousin tonight, Elliot Joshua Young. 10lb. 2 oz. We are all thinking of them and can't wait to see them all!

Over the weekend...

On Saturday morning we went to see Disney on Ice - it was 10x better than Elmo Live (haha... if that is possible!). Callie loved it because she saw a ton of the characters from the movies she really likes right now. Particular favorites were Baloo, Minnie, and Jesse the Cowgirl.

Sunday we spent the morning making cupcakes... we needed a way to use up some of the Halloween candy! I felt really bad because she ate quite a bit of frosting and threw up :( She still managed to eat a cupcake after lunch though :)

The afternoon was spent playing princess and doing her princess duties of taking care of all the animals in the kindom. Then we went to TJ Maxx to spend all of the princess' riches.

We had a really nice weekend... and no work tomorrow!!!

New Baby!!!

Just kidding! A number of people thought the surprise was that we were expecting an addition to our family.... but it's just a video :)

But's it's a good video! Last weekend I treated myself to a new flip camera and we took this during trick-or-treating. It has taken me all week to edit it (all by myself!) and figure out how to upload it, but I finally did it. And even though Caleb does this for a living, he admits I did a pretty good job.

Tonight Gallie had a sleepover at Bobby's (Lily) - Caleb and I went out to a fancy dinner and a friend's gallery opening. It was fun, but would have been more fun if Gallie was there - we missed her!

Caleb is going to Africa and India in a couple weeks so this weekend will be spent cleaning and getting some things done around the house... there may be a few fun outings planned as well :) Plus I took Monday off just because - 3 day weekend!
